We are currently recruiting for a Technical Administration Officer to join the Environment team within a local authority. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator to support a busy fleet operation, providing essential administrative and customer service support across multiple service areas

Working within a fast-paced office environment, you will play a key role in supporting workshop reception activities, fleet operations and operational systems, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of service

Key Responsibiliti

  • es:Providing administrative support to the Fleet Administration Team and operational manag
  • ersManaging and maintaining operational ICT systems and databa
  • sesActing as the first point of contact for workshop reception enquir
  • iesCoordinating vehicle inspections, MOTs, repairs and defect report
  • ingRaising and processing work orders and jobs within fleet management syst
  • emsManaging workshop calendars and scheduling vehicle servicing activit
  • iesBooking vehicle recalls and appointments with external dealersh
  • ipsUploading and maintaining accurate records and documentat
  • ionMonitoring service schedules and managing overdue vehicle servicing requireme
  • ntsProcessing invoices and assisting with financial administration ta
  • sksRecording and managing vehicle accident and insurance claim informat

Requireme

  • nts:Previous experience in an administrative, customer service or office support
  • roleStrong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and Out
  • lookExcellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priori

  • racyStrong written and verbal communication sk
  • illsAbility to work independently and use initiative within a busy environ

The successful candidate will primarily be based within Workshop Reception but may also be required to support Fleet Operations across multiple depot locations. Training is expected to be provided initially at an alternative site before transferring to the main work loca


tion.
Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be able to travel between sites as req


uired.
This is a temporary assignment until October. There is potential for the contract to be extended, or for a permanent position to be offered to the right can


didate.
