At Pinc College, we’re building something different — and we’re looking for a passionate and experienced educational leader to join us as our Head of Programmes and help shape the next chapter of our journey.\n\nAbout Pinc\nPinc is an Independent Specialist College offering an inspiring and impactful approach to education and pathways into employment for neurodivergent young people, aged 16-24 years. Through creative study programmes based in galleries, museums and cultural venues across England and Wales, we help students develop confidence, skills and pathways into further education, higher education and meaningful careers.\n\nOur approach combines personalised learning, creativity, wellbeing and employability in environments designed to inspire ambition and possibility.\n\nThis opportunity is available across a number of Pinc College campuses and creative learning environments, including locations in London, Greater Manchester, Bradford/Halifax, Birmingham, Wales and Cheshire/Staffordshire.

Each campus is embedded within inspiring cultural and heritage settings that reflect the creativity, innovation and inclusivity at the heart of our approach.\n\nAs our Head of Programmes, you’ll provide strategic and operational leadership for Pinc College’s Post-16 study programmes, ensuring that all programmes deliver high quality teaching, inclusive practice, strong student outcomes and full compliance with DfE funding rules, Ofsted requirements and SEND legislation.\n\nYou’ll lead on\n\n * High quality teaching, learning and inclusive practice\n\n * Curriculum leadership and programme development\n\n * Safeguarding and student wellbeing\n\n * SEND coordination and student support\n\n * Quality assurance and compliance\n\n * Student outcomes, progression and destination pathways\n\nYou will also play a key role in strengthening partnerships with families, cultural organisations and external stakeholders, helping to shape a truly ambitious future for our students and our organisation.\n\nSo, what else are we looking for?\n\n * Experience of working with students with SEND and EHCPs.\n\n * Experience in post-16 education or specialist provision.\n\n * Experience leading or supporting educational teams.\n\n * Ideally, experience in creative education and/or the heritage and cultural sector.\n\n * Understanding of the Ofsted Inspection Framework, ideally with involvement in inspections.\n\n * Knowledge of leading on Safeguarding, and of inclusive teaching learning strategies.\n\n * Demonstrable ability to build strong stakeholder partnerships.\n\n * Proven effective performance management.\n\n * Good team leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills.\n\n * Good ICT skills, including use of Student Management Information Systems.\n\nOur Campus clusters are as follows: Leeds Museum & Leeds Art Gallery (Leeds), Cartwright Hall & Dean Clough (Bradford & Halifax), Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery & Aston Hall (Birmingham), Touchstones, Salford Art Gallery, Bolton Museum (Greater Manchester), Manchester Museum, 22 Lever St, Manchester Craft & Design Centre (Central Manchester), Heritage Centre, The Potteries & Middleport (Macclesfield & Stoke), National Museum (Cardiff), Design Museum (London).\n\nClosing date: 28th June 2026
